Underwater photographer Christian Vizl — one of the most decorated photographers in Scuba Diving’s Through Your Lens Photo Contest — has crafted a distinct style over the years. And he’s putting his dreamy, elegant touch to underwater shooting on full display in the upcoming book Silent Kingdom: A World Beneath the Waves.

The hardbound collection, which will be published on May 14, includes black-and-white photography by Vizl, an introduction by Sylvia Earle and text by Michael Aw, Ernie Brooks, David Doubilet and Nora Torres.
