Spend Your Summer Under the Sea with Camp Program for Parents and Kids
Hosted by Whale Shark & Oceanic Research Center At Utila Lodge.
During the summer vacation months the Whale Shark and Oceanic Research Center (WSORC) will be hosting our marine conservation themed holiday program for parents/grandparents and their kids/grand kids. A week long interactive, educational adventure vacation focusing on ocean related activities that families can come and enjoy together. The package will include; coral reef conservation activities, interactive Caribbean reef fish identification workshops, snorkel excursions, whale shark and dolphin trips, information on invasive species focusing on the lionfish, sea turtle talks, visits to other local environmental organizations, screenings of marine themed conservation documentaries, night-time spotted eagle ray watching, quiz nights, and much more. All activities and lectures will be run by our resident marine biologists at WSORC. By joining us on these weeks you will be contributing towards WSORC’s short and long term conservation, education and research goals.
