Don't decide that's an great time to change your kit or configuration. Changes should be limited to "small" dives where if the change does not work out it does not result in (lots of) money spent on a dive that was not as enjoyable as you'd hoped. Putzing with kit before a dive is also a great way to break something and then have to tell your buddy that as a result of your putzing ... G_M
