Scubapro launches certification rebate for entry-level divers

SCUBAPRO has announced the launch of a major new program designed to introduce scuba diving to current non-diving outdoor enthusiasts. The SCUBAPRO Dive Certification Rebate offers entry-level participants up to $200 cash back with the purchase of selected SCUBAPRO UWATEC gear and registration in a recognized open water certification course, which students can then use to cover the cost of that course.

To optimize participation and ensure the broadest geographic appeal, SCUBAPRO is partnering with several major certification agencies to promote and administer this program, including PADI, NAUI, SDI/TDI and SSI. Dive school prospects may register for an open water certification course offered by any of these agencies at any authorized SCUBAPRO dealer. Students will then receive $50 cash back with purchase of any new SCUBAPRO mask, fins and snorkel, plus an additional $150 cash back with purchase of any new SCUBAPRO regulator system, buoyancy compensator and UWATEC dive computer. The combined total of $200 cash back will cover the cost of most open water courses.

SCUBAPRO's Dive Certification Rebate Program was launched on November 1, 2006 and will run through March 15, 2007. Additional information can be found on SCUBAPRO's website at www.scubapro.com.
