Scuba Emporium Florida Announces Move to New Location

It has been over a year that Scuba Emporium Florida opened in Florida. The store has been growing faster than the owner Sherry Hammer had anticipated. The Florida market welcomed Hammer with open arms. Many customers were very excited to have a professional Dive center in that part of Florida. Scuba Emporium Florida was approved as a PADI Five star IDC center as well as by Florida as a vocational school (School #3372) this allowed the school to offer training from beginner to Instructor. Sales, service and training were doing better than anticipated and sherry Hammer decided it was time to put a boat into the system.

Scuba Emporium Florida acquired a forty-foot custom dive boat now known as Hammer Time. The charted business has become a major part of the operation. Hammer says that with so many divers coming from the north beach diving just wasn't enough. With the introduction to Hammer Time Scuba Emporium Florida now offers local dives from the beach, Kayaks and for the longer runs the Hammer Time.

Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area is a great place to come for vacations and Scuba Emporium Florida is taking care of many divers that head to Florida. BUT what was not expected was the amount of local customers Hammer has picked up. Sherry states, "I was surprised to be puling people from the Northern Keys to as far as 80 miles North. Our local business is as good if not better than the tourist business." Sherry noticed that the store was pulling a large portion of the customers from North Fort Lauderdale. To make it easier for them to do business with Scuba Emporium Florida the dive team decided it would be best to move 15 miles North of the current location.

A new store was picked and will be one of the finniest dive centers in Florida. The lay out of this new location is wonderful say Carolyn the DIVE CENTER manager. It is like walking into an upscale store. With so many windows the store is Carolyn believes it will bring out the colors in all the equipment, making every thing look brighter.

The move will be completed on May 13 until then we are still doing business as normal in out Pembroke Pines location says Hammer. The staff is looking for a smooth move and is excited to get in to the new place to build it out.

Scuba Emporium Florida is now located in the Promenade at Inverrary, a nice shopping center located at 4678 North University Drive, Lauderhill Florida 33351. The phone numbers will stay the same; main line is 954-987-2822 (954-98-SCUBA)
