Ocean Frontiers and Compass Point Dive Resort
It can be challenging to maintain the excellence that put you atop your industry’s pedestal. That’s not the case, however, for Ocean Frontiers and Compass Point Dive Resort, a PADI Five Star Dive Center with a beachfront location on Grand Cayman’s East End. This year, both the dive operation and resort took first place for Best Overall in the Readers Choice survey, a distinction they also earned last year.

With 55 named sites just minutes away from the dock, Ocean Frontiers offers underwater experiences that include walls, pinnacles, canyons, arches, shipwrecks, stingrays, turtles and reef shark encounters.
Ocean Frontiers takes pride in providing outstanding quality of service, facilities, boats and dive experiences. Guests receive the “Green Shorts Service,” the ultimate in valet treatment. On board the three spacious 46-foot dive vessels, the crew offers “business class” service. Every seat has ample space, individual mask rinse buckets and gear storage crates. The boats are also equipped with liveaboard-style dive ladders for easy exits and entries.
Ocean Frontiers also stands out for its commitment to conservation. It was the first dive operator in the Cayman Islands to receive PADI’s Green Star Dive Center accreditation.
Compass Point Dive Resort offers one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums, a pool with a 12-person hot tub attached and the onsite restaurant Eagle Ray’s.
Ocean Frontiers and Compass Point provide everything guests need to dive, relax and recharge during a vacation.

One-of-a-Kind Experiences
Ocean Frontiers offers a host of unique experiences. During the Multi-Color Night Dive, special dive lights with ultraviolet, red and warm white settings bring out psychedelic colors on a shallow reef. The Macro Mania dive uncovers a hotbed of weird creatures in the East End lagoon. The late-afternoon Champagne Stingrays excursion has been billed as an after party with southern stingrays, followed by sipping the bubbly stuff on the boat ride back to the dock, which also includes a tour of the mangrove reserve.
2025 Readers Choice Awards
This dive operation and resort combined for 13 awards, including first place for Best Overall operator, Best Overall resort, Quality of the Resort and Quality of the Rooms.
