How To Blow a Bubble Ring Underwater
You've probably seen a divemaster or buddy do it and thought: How do you blow a bubble ring underwater? It's not a critical safety skill — or really important scuba diving skill whatsoever — but it is fun, and could be a good way to pass the time on your next safety stop. Check out this video from Hugo Mattsson on how to make bubble rings, both by shooting them your hands and by blowing bubble rings with your mouth.
Mattson breaks his two techniques down with five easy steps each. Check out his tips for shooting air bubbles and try for yourself:
1. Get in a Vertical Position
If you're swimming in a horizontal trim, it's important to alter your orientation so you can manipulate your bubble stream.
