Scubapro Go Sport Fins: ScubaLab Testers Choice
We tested the Scubapro Go Sport fin in our 2019 ScubaLab fin test. Powerful, yet compact, it was our Testers Choice for fins. We tested the Go Sport at Alexander Springs in Central Florida, where test divers rated it in 12 different categories including efficiency, power, acceleration and comfort.
Just over 20 inches long in size medium and weighing only 1½ pounds apiece, these fins are compact enough to fit in your carry-on luggage, but still provide plenty of kick. During our in-water testing, the Go Sport took top score in almost every category, including power vs. stress, where its angled blade and ventral support rails helped it churn water like a much larger fin. “A real go-getter,” one diver said. The short blade performed well in all styles of kicking and is highly maneuverable — test divers praised its ability to perform tight turns. Donning and doffing are effortless thanks to the excellent bungee strap and ergonomic finger loop. The fin is constructed of durable monoprene and has small vertical stabilizing skegs at the blade tip that are interchangeable and available in a range of colors. Powerful, compact and overwhelmingly picked as the favorite of our test divers, the Scubapro Go Sport was our Testers Choice.
