Dive Like James Bond in the Bahamas
Aside from being featured in some of the most notable 007 films, the wrecks at Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas are also home to abundant and beautiful marine life. Thanks to the Bahamas’ “Artificial Reef Program,” these structures help supply a platform for marine life to safely rejuvenate itself in a world with constant pressure put on our reef systems.
First, relive your favorite moments from Sean Connery’s Never Say Never Again with the Tears of Allah wreck, a 90-foot purpose-sunken ship teeming with over 30 years of growth. Next, don’t miss the Vulcan Bomber from the 1965 film Thunderball, an intricate prop that has built up over 50 years of abundant, colorful growth.
At only 30 feet from each other and just a short ride from the shop, both 007-dives can be accomplished in a single day in less than 50 feet of water. Not only are these bucket-list dives for many, they are also home to several species of marine life. Specifically sunk in nutrient-rich, shallow areas, these wrecks receive ample light to encourage coral and vegetation growth.
Experience the Bond wrecks and the abundant life that thrives on them at Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas.
