Cage Diving with Great White Sharks in Neptune Islands, Australia

This heart pounding footage was captured by Becky Schott in the Neptune Islands — a group of islands in South Australia. The footage shows a unique great white shark experience where divers in a submerged cage get dropped down around 60-80 feet where the cage hovers along the kelp sea floor. You have the opportunity to be face-to-face with big white sharks in a natural setting, where you can witness them cruising the rocky bottom that's full of other marine life including fish, stingrays and sea lions.

Rodney Fox Expeditions is dedicated to documenting the sharks and has collected extensive research over the past few decades. They have identified over 1,000 sharks and are recording new sightings each year.

Schott reflects on her experiences by summarizing “I’m proud to dive with an operation that cares about the sharks and their future in Australia.”
