Just a car or plane ride away, the Florida Panhandle Shipwreck Trail offers something for divers and snorkelers alike. Undersea adventure awaits right off the Gulf Coast, with twelve wrecks between Pensacola, Destin, Panama City and Port St. Joe. Dive on tugs, a minesweeper, supply vessels, a freighter, and even the aircraft carrier USS Oriskany, the largest artificial reef in the world. More than just submerged structures, each site is teeming with sea life and awaiting exploration. Find yourself in a cloud of baitfish, or circled by amber jack and wahoo, even an occasional dolphin.
