Worldwide Dive and Sail Adds Fiji to their List of Diving Destinations

Fiji Siren

Worldwide Dive and Sail’s Siren Fleet is doing it again!

Another amazing destination is has been added to the already impressive list of diving destinations visited by Worldwide Dive and Sail’s Siren Fleet. This time it’s the must see destination of Fiji. The newly built yacht will be named the S/Y Fiji Siren, and is being constructed along the lines of her sister ships with the same luxury outfit as all the other Siren Fleet yachts.

At a length of 40m/130ft and a beam of 10m/33ft, she will host 16 divers in 8 air-conditioned en-suite cabins, along with providing all the Siren Fleet regular features such as camera stations, a spacious dive deck, sun deck and outdoor dining. And with a crew of 12, the S/Y Fiji Siren is set to be by far the most luxurious boat in Fiji.

The founder of Worldwide Dive and Sail, Frank van der Linde, who also builds the Siren Fleet yachts, has confirmed that the building is ahead of schedule and that the yacht will be ready by April 2013. This will allow plenty of time for the S/Y Fiji Siren to stretch her sea legs and make the journey to Fiji from Indonesia, ready to begin cruises in October.

The S/Y Fiji Siren will offer 7- and 1- night live-aboard diving safaris to Fiji in conjunction with the Darling family-run Volivoli Beach Resort. Divers can combine the local sites of Viti Levu, Bligh Waters and the Vatu-I Ra Passage with a live-aboard cruise to the Somosomo strait, Savusavu and the Lomaiviti Islands, with the final day being spent watching spinner dolphins. We will also offer excursions to Beqa Lagoon, one of the most renowned shark dives in Fiji.

Trips will depart from Volivoli Beach Resort, just a 2.5-hour scenic drive from the Nadi Airport on the northern coast of Viti Levu. The resort is owned and managed by the Darling family, who settled in Fiji from New Zealand in 1993. The resort provides “laid-back luxury” and is renowned for its friendly and helpful staff -- not just at the resort, but the Ra Divers operations also. Their knowledge and vast experience of Fiji, joined with Siren Fleet’s live-aboard know-how and exceptional service is bound to be a winning combination.

Prices start from 2350 Euro per person and group bookings are welcomed. Reserve your place aboard the S/Y Fiji Siren today!
