Women Divers Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2012

The Women Divers Hall of Fame (WDHOF) has named the five new honorees for the WDHOF Class of 2012:

Nancy Easterbrook, Technical Diving Pioneer, Marine Environmentalist, Lobbyist & Conservationist;

Nancy Guarascio, Dive Industry Professional, Underwater Photographer, Speaker;

Robin Parish, Educational Non-Profit Leader, Marine Biologist, Conservationist, Diving and Ocean Advocate;

Maurine Shimlock, Underwater Photographer & Author, Dive Travel Professional & Conservationist; and

Amelia Behrens-Furniss (deceased), Pioneer Hard Hat Diver

These extraordinary women will be officially inducted into WDHOF on March 24, 2012 at the Beneath the Sea (BTS) Awards Banquet at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in Secaucus, New Jersey (www.BeneathTheSea.org).
