We're hiring and looking for a ScubaLab Editor!

Job Description Looking for an experienced scuba gear tester for a full-time position working at the industry’s leading testing facility, ScubaLab, based in Winter Park, Florida. The successful candidate must:

  • Have scuba gear testing experience (regulators, BCs and dive computers)
  • Develop test protocols for scuba gear (regs, BCs, dive computers, fins, wetsuits, drysuits, masks, etc.) and analyze and interpret test data
  • Evaluate/interpret data from ANSTI breathing machine and hyperbaric chamber
  • Establish detailed topside and underwater data-collecting methods and demonstrate repeatable results
  • Be familiar with all aspects of scuba gear assembly
  • Supervise test team divers
  • Compile and write gear articles using test analysis
  • Produce editorial scripts and copy for online content
  • Bring a fresh approach to existing and new editorial and online initiatives
  • Oversee gear procurement and testing logistics, such as pool rental, recruitment of test team divers, etc.
