Join Ocean Enterprises for family and community fun that benefits Breast Cancer Research at our [29th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest](http://www.oceanenterprisesdirect.com/newsletter/lt.php?id=KRlQAVoOCgZVARpQ BAIdBgYECQ%3D%3D) on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM at La Jolla Shores (near the flag pole) in La Jolla, CA. Registration is $20 and includes a BBQ lunch sponsored by Ocean Enterprises and prepared by chefs from the San Diego Culinary Institute. All proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research and the event offers fun for the entire family, even non-divers who want to carve their pumpkins on dry land.

Participants have two options to sign up and pay for their registration:

• by coming into Ocean Enterprises at 7710 Balboa Ave,
• by calling us at 858-565-6054 and paying over the phone. The event kicks off at 8:00 AM when divers and non-divers will sign in and either head out into the surf to create their pumpkin masterpieces or carve them on land. All participants provide their own pumpkin and cleaning/carving tools (dive knives only for underwater carving). The BBQ will begin at 11:00 AM as everyone finishes up their pumpkin carving and the judging will take place at 12:00 PM. The event will conclude at 1:00 PM and participants can take home their carvings to display for Halloween.
