We were able to spend a splendid two weeks in Bonaire this February mainly because of the great package we got from the Golden Reef. We had a truck that held the bikes and was able to go all over Washington-Slagbaai that was included in the rent. While you are not on the water (but who cares when you are in it all day!), you are in a quiet little neighborhood that is very "real" and close to restaurants and almost within walking distance of a fabulous snorkeling/diving site. Bonaire is wonderful. So is the Golden Reef.
