FEATURES
A 2011 Testers’ Choice, the Titan first stage was redesigned to incorporate a second high-pressure port and is a compact, lightweight balanced-diaphragm design that provided consistent breathing effort in all lab tests. The second stage is midsize, high-performance reinforced polycarbonate that is reversible, has an exhaust that reduces noise and bubble size, and has side openings in the front cover to reduce free-flow in high current. Our testers found the Titan to be dry in all positions and a great breather in real-world diving. Most testers liked the ComfoBite mouthpiece and the forceful purge, noting that the purge cover is large, easy to depress and clears water quickly.
