IST Syklops
IST’s aluminum-frame entry in the single-lens category, the Syklops is a wide-lens mask with a wide field of view. The buckles are attached to the skirt, and the frame is 6000-series marine-grade aluminum meant to provide strength. The Syklops is a big mask: Female testers found the Syklops too big for their smaller faces. Given its high volume and large size, the Syklops might be better suited to snorkelers, but the reinforced aluminum frame — which testers liked — and horizontal- and vertical-vision qualities can be appreciated by divers.
