The Best Scuba Diving Experiences: 2017 Reader Survey Rankings

Throughout the years, the staff of Sport Diver magazine has compiled plenty of lists concerning the "best" destinations for scuba diving around the world, including our popular article listing 50 great dive sites. These lists, of course, are very subjective. We talk to traveling divers, travel journalists, pro photographers, readers and even travel ourselves to develop this content, but we wanted to do a pure reader survey so you could make your voice heard. That's why we developed our 2017 World's Best reader survey. We wanted to see what our social media followers and enewsletter subscribers have to say about the best experiences and locales for diving and travel worldwide. METHODOLOGY:

• Sport Diver worked with Bonnier Custom Insights to conduct the World’s Best Platinum Awards Study.

• The survey was fielded by Bonnier Custom Insights via a series of email invitations, social media promotions and website ads from June 2 to June 26 to Sport Diver and ISLANDS consumers.

• The email blast, social media posts and web promotions contained a link to an online survey questionnaire hosted by Bonnier Custom Insights.

• All tabulations, percentages, and other calculations published in the accompanying report were compiled in accordance with established research standards.
