Bahamas Hurricane Updates

We have re-enacted our Hurricane Page on the Bahamas Diving website http://www.bahamasdiving.com. There is a link right on the home page to our hurricane status member update section. Bahamas Diving Association members can update 24-hours a day to this special location on their status and location as the storm passes The Bahamas.

We will try to keep this section updated as often as possible, and we ask all diving media to link to this special section for hurricane updates. Ideally, you can direct the traffic to the general site, as the special link is very evident: http://www.bahamasdiving.com

However, is you want to link to the special section only, the address is:

Thanks in advance for your help over the next few weeks as we try to keep the diving public informed as to the status of The Bahamas.

As of right now, in Nassau, it's clear summer weather. Hanna is stalled over Dominican Republic and Haiti far to the South, but expected to jog to the North over the coming days. How close to The Bahamas it will pass is just a guess, but we hope the storm stays a 'Tropical Storm' as it nears The Bahamas in the next few days.

We suggest that divers planning to travel to The Bahamas over the next few fays contact the dive operator they booked their trip with to confirm airline operational status.
