The notorious pirate Black Caesar, who once sailed Florida's coastal waters in the early 19th century will make a comeback Oct. 17th-19th for the Key Largo Pirate Festival.

The festivities are to start Friday October 17th with music and a rum tasting at 6 P.M. at Cafe Largo Bayside Grille, mile marker 99.6 bayside - about 20 miles from the place where Black Caesar is thought to have maintained a harem and buried treasure worth millions.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, there will be a Pirate Bazaar and Thieves' Market starting at noon at the Caribbean Club, Big Chill, Sundowners, Cactus Jacks Senor Frijoles. Look for Pirate paraphernalia, memorabilia and art.

A concert on the water on Blackwater Sound commences at 2 P.M. off Amoray Dive Resort, Sundowners, the Big Chill and Caribbean Club.
