There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition, and in the dive world, photo contests can have big pay-outs. Besides giving out awesome prizes, contests like Scuba Diving magazine’s annual Through Your Lens competition have also given exposure to talented but less-known photographers. Whatever your motivation for submitting to an underwater photography contest, we want to make it easier to find these opportunities. Dive Into The Pink Photo Competition

Nonprofit organization Dive into the Pink is hosting their third-annual Think Pink photo competition. The competition is organized by Dive into the Pink and supported by Dive Photo Guide. Photographers are invited to submit their most exciting images that feature the color pink, with all proceeds used to support the fight against breast cancer. This year prizes include a trip to Anilao sponsored by Crystal Blue Resort and a liveaboard trip to Indonesia sponsored by Dive Damai.

The Monterey Shootout
Sponsored by Backscatter Underwater Video & Photo, this event takes place over the weekend of August 22-25, 2019, in Monterey, California. Registration is $25 and gets you access to the competition, seminars and a cocktail party.
