This update to Tekna’s Ocean Edge Res-Q blade (a previous ScubaLab Testers Choice) now incorporates a folding blade for easy stowage. The full serrated stainless blade uses a hook tip designed for cutting rope, belts or lines close to the body or sensitive dive equipment. The blade features a built-in oxygen tank wrench slot. The 420HC stainless-steel blade measures 2.75 inches/7 centimeters long.
TEKNA BUOY EDGE

This folding knife’s 3.5-inch/9-centimeter stainless-steel blade features a straight cutting blade with a serrated back. The lightweight knife is positively buoyant, meaning it will float toward the surface if dropped underwater instead of sinking into the depths. The handle is bright yellow for easy visibility and features a lanyard hole for securing it to the diver.
TEKNA GATOR EDGE

Made of 420HC stainless steel, this multi-tool offers scuba divers several options for dealing with underwater entanglements. The spring-loaded scissors offer a handy shearing tool and cable cutter, while the outside edges of the tool feature both a serrated- and straight-cutting edge, and a built-in line cutter. The full-tang blades are exposed at the end for light hammering. The Gator Edge measures just over 10 inches/26 centimeters long and weighs 8 ounces/230 grams. Quick-release sheath and straps are included.

This durable strobe uses dual, high-intensity LEDs and circuitry to create a 4,500-lumen signal that can be seen for miles at night. The strobe has a double O-ring seal and is waterproof to 500 feet/150 meters. It is available with several choices of lens and body colors, and includes a Velcro strap. The strobe uses 3 C-cell Alkaline batteries (included with the light) and will run for up to 60 hours. It weighs 12 ounces/340 kilograms and is about 9 inches/23 centimeters long.
