It's almost time for every fin-fanatic's favorite part of the year — and it's coming earlier than usual. In the promo shown above, Discovery Channel announced June 26 as the kick-off date for Shark Week 2016. The video is a little unusual — mermaids and ringmasters accompany the ocean's top predators in a dream-like first-person sequence. If this is any indication what lies in store for this year's programming, it's sure to "Shark N' Awe."
