When you dive with the resort’s onsite team at Statia Divers, your underwater explorations are personalized to your individual dive preferences on three specialized dive boats that visit the most exciting sites within the lauded St. Eustatius National Marine Park.
The protected waters here are home to 36 dive sites, all within 20 minutes by boat from the resort, and creatures that include four species of sea turtles, colorful nudibranchs, spotted eagle rays, reef sharks and even the occasional manta ray.

Resort amenities include two restaurants serving everything from sushi and pizza to whole grilled Caribbean lobster and Italian specialties, an ocean-fed lagoon swimming pool lined with hammocks that’s the size of a football field, a full-service spa and even pickleball courts.
When you’re not diving, enjoy a guided hike to The Quill–St. Eustatius’ dormant volcano and iconic landmark with the island’s most impressive panoramic views– or visit the historic capital, Oranjestad.
A Caribbean dive vacation never felt as all-around rewarding as here.

Private Island
Into birding? Those passionate for this topside pursuit should plan a visit to beautiful and rugged Zeelandia Beach. The long sweep of sand facing the Atlantic Ocean on St. Eustatius’ eastern coast attracts many types of seabirds including magnificent frigatebirds and brown boobies as well as migrants like American oystercatchers and semipalmated plovers. Look for natural nooks lining the cliffs to observe from a distance. Beautiful red-billed tropicbirds can often be seen here tending their nests, which contain just a single egg.
2025 Readers Choice Awards
