PADI Women's Dive Day Back for 11th Year

PADINow in its 11th year, PADI Women’s Dive Day unites women with a shared passion.
Since 2015, PADI Women’s Dive Day has been making waves—literally. What started as a grassroots celebration has grown into a global movement that’s helping shift the tides in scuba diving.
In just over a decade, female certifications have climbed from 37.2 percent to 39.4 percent, and the momentum isn’t slowing down any time soon. Now in its 11th year, the event returns on July 19, 2025, with events around the world designed to bring women together at every stage of their dive journey—to connect, explore and build community beneath the surface.

All around the world, dive centers and ocean advocates are rolling out the welcome mat with events that range from fun first-time experiences to full-on underwater adventures. In Tennessee, Smoky Mountain Divers is inviting beginners to take the plunge with a free Women Try Scuba session—perfect for any woman curious about what it’s like to breathe below the surface. Across the Atlantic in Switzerland, certified divers can head to Deep Turtle dive center in Saint-Prex for a relaxed social gathering that’s all about community and connection.
Looking to go big? Head to the Maldives, where PADI and Nova Maldives are teaming up from July 13–20 for a weeklong Ocean Adventure Retreat in the pristine waters of South Ari Atoll.

Expect guided dives, manta and whale shark encounters, reef cleanups and hands-on marine conservation workshops—all led by PADI AmbassaDiver and ocean advocate India Black, alongside PADI Maldives Regional Manager Matt Wenger.
