Pinnacle Aquatics' announces new merino-elastiprene line of wetsuits

Pinnacle Aquatics is proud to unveil the latest in wetsuit technology in their new Merino-Elastiprene series of suits. This revolutionary line of suits provides greater warmth than standard wetsuits combined with the comfort of high-stretch suits. Divers now have the ability to choose a suit that is incredibly flexible and easy to don without having to sacrifice warmth and durability.

Pinnacle has made major improvements to its Merino™ lining system and to its Elastiprene rubber in order to create these suits.

The proprietary Elastiprene blend of rubber has been redeveloped to be even more flexible than the current blend while also more resistant to the pressures of depth. Unlike many high-stretch suits that compress easily and lose insulation value at depth, Pinnacle's Merino-Elastiprene and the original Elastiprene suits resist pressure and maintain more of their original thickness as a diver descends.

Pinnacle's patented Merino™ lining system has earned a reputation for being incorporated into the warmest wetsuits that money can buy. The revolutionary lining has been scientifically proven to create a better insulating barrier between the diver and the outside environment. Other benefits of Merino™ include odor reduction, quick drying, and a comfortable inner layer that allows a suit to slide on and off much more easily. Pinnacle has devised a new way to weave the Merino™ fibers to allow them to stretch to over twice their resting length, meaning that the Merino™ lining that adds the warmth to the suit is actually more stretchy than the suit itself.

In addition to being comfortable and warm, the Merino-Elastiprene suits are built to last. The Elastiprene outer lining is extremely resistant to snags and pulls, to the point of being nearly impervious to even Velcro. This ensures that the suit will look great for years to come. Other features include Kevlar knee pads, rubber shoulder pads, a 10mm spine pad, o-ring wrist seals, gusseted ankle zippers with smoothskin sealing surfaces, marine grade brass main zipper slider and pull, and a roll neck collar with Pinnacle's newly redesigned neck closure.

The Merino-Elastiprene series of suits will be available in 7mm, 5mm, and 3mm. All three versions come in 13 men's sizes from Small to 4XL (and Pinnacle's two new King sizes) and 10 women's sizes from XS to XXL.
