Old Gear Review White's Pro Tech Dry Suit

Upon first pulling it out of the box, I was quite surprised at the overall condition. It actually unfolded without breaking (after all, it had been stored in a box, in the rafters of the garage for the last 4 years). At first look, it is a neoprene drysuit ('nuff said). Medium Large, and still fits like a glove except for the left boot. After removing the mouse nest and stored food from the left boot, it fit quite well too. The inlet valve does not rotate anymore, nor will it pass gas. The outlet valve, well read on to see why I can not check it. The neck and wrist seals, although used and showing minor cracking, still felt like they could do their job (at least they did not tear while I was trying it on). The knee pad is beginning to come lose. But a bit of cement can correct that. This is a back entry suit, and the zipper is (to say the least) TRASHED! Even if the zipper could be replaced for less than the price of a used/discontinued suit from eBay, who in their right mind would fix a neoprene drysuit? Over all evaluation: Guess this sucker is going back in the box and up in the garage rafters until the next time I find a really lame reason to pull it down. Enjoy
