PRIZE: SHARK FEEDER ADVENTURE:

Stuart Cove's Shark Feeder program is a private, behind the scenes adventure that will allow you to participate in our normal Shark Adventure dives and then progress on and learn how to be the feeder!

We will ask you to complete the At Home Shark Awareness Course by visiting www.stuartcovesharkdiving.com. Watch the on-line DVD and complete the quiz. If you have questions, let me know and I’ll have a shark feeder/instructor contact you to discuss.

Your first day of this course will begin with our PM Shark Adventure dives, where you will participate (as a guest) in the Shark Adventure™ dives. On this trip you will be performing your observation assignments. These two dives also complete your Shark Awareness course specialty. During the two dives you will observe both natural and feeding behaviors of the Caribbean Reef sharks.

Day two begins with a feeding clinic. You and your shark feeder instructor will review your observations about the previous days feeding, and you will practice basic feeding techniques. This section is a land based, dry run - where you learn to handle the spear, operate the bait box, and time the release of bait.

Then it is off to your private boat for your personal shark feeding dive. Accompanying you will be your shark feeder instructor, a crew person for the boat, and staff from Fin Photo. A combination of video and still pictures will be taken during your 2-tank dive. Your first dive will be a dry run without bait, and the second dive we will load you up for the adventure of a lifetime!

The Dive Stuart Cove’s Instagram Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by [Scuba Diving] magazine, publications of Bonnier Corporation (“Sponsor”).

ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: Shark Feeder Program for one (1) person including:

• Participation in Feeding Technique Clinic

• One (1) standard 2-tank Shark Adventure™ dive

• One (1) private 2-tank shark dive with you as the feeder

• Certification as a Shark Awareness Diver with PADI

• Photos documenting your shark experiences

• Two (2) videos, including: one (1) private video of your Shark Feeding experience and one (1) group video of your Shark Adventure™ dive

Winner must travel by August 31, 2017. Black-out dates include the U.S. Holidays of Labor Day, September 5, 2016; Thanksgiving week, November 20-26, 2016; Christmas week, December 25-30, 2016; New Year's Eve, December 31, 2016; New Year’s Day, January 1, 2017; Memorial Day, May 29, 2017; and The Fourth of July, July 4, 2017. Prize value: $2,475.

ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to individuals, eighteen (18) years or older at time of entry, who are legal residents of the United States and Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec. Employees of Bonnier Corporation and its parent companies, subsidiaries or agents, their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and grandparents), and those domiciled with any of the foregoing are not eligible.

ENTRY: All entrants must post a scuba diving photo on Instagram and hashtag #DiveStuartCoves. Photos must be taken by the entrant. All information provided by entrant must be complete, true and correct. Submissions to the Contest must be received by August 31, 2016 at 11:59 am Eastern Time (“ET”) in order to be eligible; entries received after that date will be deemed ineligible to win. All submitted entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned; Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, illegible, or misdirected entries. Each entry must be submitted on an individual basis (i.e., no team, joint, or corporate entries) and all components of the entry must be the original creation of the submitting participant. Only non-commercial work may be submitted. Entries may not contain profanity, nudity, pornographic images, violent images, anti-competition messages, illegal material, or material that violates the rights of third parties. Entries may not include confidential information, trade secrets, trademarks or copyrighted material belonging to any person or entity other than the entrant absent a suitable license or permission agreement, proof of which is required. Entries containing any forbidden matter or material otherwise deemed by Sponsor to be inappropriate will be disqualified. Online entries will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. One entry per person; multiple entries will be disqualified.

JUDGING: A panel of judges consisting of Scuba Diving editors will select the winning entry based equally upon the criteria of originality, quality and relevance. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules, and that the decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects. Judging will be completed by September 2 and potential winners will be notified by @reply on or before September 7. Sponsor reserves the right not to select any winning submissions based upon the quantity or content of submissions.

PRIZE AWARDS: Potential winners may be required to sign and return a sworn Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release. If required documentation is not returned within seven (7) business days of notification, or if notification is returned as undeliverable, any prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Prizes will be awarded within sixty (60) days after winner verification. No prize substitution or transfer is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, including cash, for any reason. Sponsor is required by law to report prize values to taxing authorities; all taxes and any other incidental expenses on prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner.

GENERAL RULES & LIMITATIONS: By entering, you represent that: (i) your entry is your own original work; (ii) you own or have the rights to convey any and all right and title in any material submitted as part of your entry into the Contest; (iii) the entry has not been published or submitted to any other competition; and (iv) your entry does not infringe upon any third party’s rights, including but not limited to, copyright, patent or trademarks/trade names/logos, or rights of privacy or publicity.
