Scubapro has released its newest reg, pairing up one of its most iconic second stages with an all-new first stage designed for consistent performance even in the most demanding cold-water conditions.

The MK19 EVO/D420 features the new MK19 EVO first stage, which combines the environmentally sealed design of the MK17 EVO and the high-performance LP ports and the convenient rotating turret of the MK25 EVO for easy hose routing.

The distinctively styled D420 second stage evokes the heritage of Scubapro’s D series regs, with the diaphragm located below the inlet valve to take advantage of the pressure gradient for easy air delivery. But inside are the latest internal components, including a new balanced valve designed for smooth inhalation. It features an easy to reach top-mounted Venturi control, redesigned exhaust ports, a rugged fiberglass-reinforced case and the ability to connect the LP hose on either side.

The reg has a suggested price of $935.
