Shark Selfie: Diver Poses with Great White Shark
Dutch conservationist Peter Verhoog decided to up his selfie game to a whole new level while diving in Guadeloupe, Mexico. In this video, posted by Barcroft TV, Verhoog stuck his head out of the cage he was diving in long enough to get a fantastic selfie-shot with a great white shark.
Sharks are generally no threat to divers or anyone else in the water. Statistics provided by Florida Muesem of Natural History show that from 2003-2012 the average number of fatalities, world-wide, from shark attacks was only six deaths per year.
