ScubaLab Mask Tests 2011: ScubaPro Spectra Mirrored
Scubapro Spectra Mirrored
First introduced in 2008, the Spectra gets an upgrade this year with mirrored lenses. All testers agreed that wearing the Spectra at the surface was like wearing sunglasses, with a noticeable reduction in glare, and underwater vision was clear and sharp. The Spectra’s combined vertical FOV score was in the excellent range. Performancewise, testers found the straps and swivel buckle assembly easy to adjust, and the mask was simple to clear and equalize. Testers felt the “cool factor” of the Spectra Mirrored set it above its predecessor.
