Old Gear Review ReefMaster SL96010 strobe

Although this thing's been rode hard and put away wet way too many times, it still functions. As you can see from the picture, the "Ready" light is burring bright (see arrow). The strobe head and the try are still in good condition. Obviously, the arm is missing (courtesy of American Airlines). Oh I got the pieces back, but ended up throwing them away. From the second picture, you can see some rust on the bolt that holds the counter weight to the tray. The rust is due to some bubble blower being too cheap to use a nylon bolt, so he uses a steel bolt instead. Over all evaluation: Granted, it only has two power settings (ON and OFF), and produces enough heat that you can cook an egg in 4 flashes. But if it did not cost so much to get a new arm, I'd fix it. Enjoy
