Great Shore Diving

We stayed at Den Laman Condos in Bonaire and they were very good. Only two years old with very modern appliances and good satelite tv. The only poor thing about the condos is that we had a studio and they face the parking lot and dive compressor so it made sitting on the balconey not real enjoyable.

The dive operator (Bonaire Dive and Adventure) was rather poor. After diving for 6 years and 180 dives, this was the poorest dive operator we have encountered. They did not have tank racks or enough weights. They told me they used to but guests did not return them so they will not get more. The rinse water was often not changed or empty. Their hours are very limited (8:30 - 4:30) and there was often no one available. When you would ask a question, the response was brisk and unfriendly.

The diving was great! We did 24 shore dives and all of them were good. The water in early March was 79F while in September it is 82F but the visability was good (70-100 feet). There was a slight current at times, but usually no current at all. We just left the truck open and had no problems. Some sites have easier entry than others, but you can check shorediving.com for details or ask your dive operator.
