Dive Computer PC Interface kits

During the final phase of testing we put our "computer geek" test divers to the task of using and evaluating the hardware and software that allow you to transfer dive data from your dive computer to your personal computer. In addition to being highly experienced recreational divers, these test divers have backgrounds in software design and programming. Here are their observations:

Aeris Manta/Oceanic Geo Price: $99 The Geeks Said: The Oceanlog software was easy to install, but the USB drivers took a few retries. Once the program is installed, transferring data is easy and the "which dives to save" option lets you choose all, new or just the profiles you select. There is even a queries section that lets you search for all dives matching a certain criteria. User settings can be checked in the PC mode, saving time pushing buttons on the gauge.

Air consumption can be tracked from all three transmitters once you set the tank size and working pressure.
