Urgent Help Needed to Protect Lemon Sharks!

The Juno Ledge lemon shark aggregation is the only known event of its kind in the world, and at this time they are particularly vulnerable to unregulated commercial fishing. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is currently reviewing proposals to increase protection for lemon sharks and other species in Florida. There is an online petition to show your support, and if you're in Florida in late October you can join one of the free FWC Lemon Shark Workshops. Oct. 19th - Fort Myers, FL - 6pm - 8pm Joseph P. D'Alessandro Office Complex, 2295 Victoria Ave. Oct. 20th - Dania Beach, FL - 6pm -8pm IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum, 300 Gulf Stream Way.
