What sets Explorer Ventures Liveaboard Fleet apart from other companies that offer trips to some of the same destinations? Oh, let us count the ways.

For one thing, you’ll dive into a world of possibilities when you choose Explorer Ventures. For nearly four decades, this liveaboard company has been thoughtfully expanding, increasing its fleet and destination itineraries.

The 10 exceptional liveaboards — Caribbean Explorer II, Turks & Caicos Explorer II, Black Pearl Explorer, Tiburon Explorer, Humboldt Explorer, Emperor Explorer, Grand Sea Explorer, Glory Sea Explorer, Blue Manta Explorer and White Manta Explorer — offer unique and varied itineraries in eight incredible destinations.

There are countless underwater wonders, a curated collection of authentic experiences awaits, from exotic, far-flung destinations that deliver mind-blowing encounters to exclusive expeditions that showcase hidden gems closer to home. Explorer Ventures offers something for every diver, including rainbow-colored reefs, sparkling water, and awe-inspiring encounters with marine life.

But the most important aspect that puts this liveaboard company at the head of the class is the team’s commitment to excellent service and making sure their guests feel like they’re part of their family. You’ll experience the difference as soon as you step onboard. Since its very first liveaboard trip — the original Caribbean Explorer set sail in June 1987 from Bobby’s Marina in St. Maarten — Explorer Ventures has been redefining the art of boutique liveaboard scuba diving while upholding the same values that put guests first. Each and every vessel in the fleet maintains exacting safety standards, top-notch dive facilities and unmatched amenities designed to pamper guests. You’ll soon understand why so many of Explorer Ventures’ guests are repeat customers. Additionally, Explorer Ventures has been a leader in sustainable liveaboard diving, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to ocean conservation and continually improving their practices. They pioneered the partnership with Green Fins, achieving certification for four vessels to date, and their Galapagos fleet was recently designated as the first and only PADI Eco Centers in the Galapagos Islands.

And of course, no conversation about a superb liveaboard experience is complete without discussing the diving. That’s the whole point of what the Explorer Ventures Liveaboards offer. Yes, the diving is exciting and extraordinary, but the crew also makes it effortless, from the calm and warm waters of the Caribbean to the astonishing biodiversity in the Pacific’s Coral Triangle and the Red Sea to the thrilling big-animal encounters in the Galapagos and Silver Bank. You’ll love every sensational dive, whether you’re admiring the soaring offshore pinnacles of Saba and St. Kitts, the stunning turquoise waters of the Turks and Caicos, the thrilling shark parades in Palau, the staggering diversity of the Galapagos, majestic mantas in the Maldives, historic wrecks and soft corals in the Red Sea, the exotic creatures and lush reefs of Indonesia, or getting close to humpback whales on snorkeling expeditions to the Silver Bank.

The yachts offer comfort, high-end amenities, and plenty of space to unwind and relax during surface intervals. In the Caribbean, the award-winning Caribbean Explorer II comfortably accommodates 18 passengers in nine double staterooms, all with private bathrooms.
