Part of Citizen’s UNITE with BLUE collection, this Promaster transforms recycled materials into an eye-catching undersea treasure highlighting conservation and sustainability. Inspired by the colors of the sea, the beautiful iridescent dial is made of 100 percent recycled polycarbonate. Its stunning colors are the result of a special pigment-free structural ink that harnesses light on the nanoscopic level to produce brilliant blue, turquoise and emerald hues that pop against the 44 mm silver-tone stainless case. Other eco-minded features include the watch’s Eco-Drive movement, which is powered by light and eliminates the need to discard used batteries, and its silicone strap, which is made of biomass-based polyurethane. Through its partnership with 1% for the Planet, Citizen donates a portion of all online proceeds to organizations focused on conservation.
