Amy Slate's Amoray Dive Resort, in Key Largo, Florida, will host their 11th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest on Monday, October 27th, 2008. Scuba divers on the morning boat will participate in a unique jack o'lantern carving contest, complete with a coral reef backdrop. Buddy teams will take the plunge, and set out to try to carve the winning pumpkin in under thirty feet of water. The Amoray Diver crew will judge the entries, and cool prizes will be awarded from the Amoray Dive Center dive shop. We provide the pumpkins. All you need is your sharpened dive knives and your best pumpkin carving skills.
