June is Diver Safety Month and the Divers Alert Network (DAN), is offering a variety of ways to connect with other divers and learn more about how to have safe and enjoyable experiences under the waves.

Throughout the month, they will be offering daily dive safety tips on Facebook and Twitter (@DAN_America). Fans of DAN on Facebook can participate in two, hour-long live chats with DAN safety experts. The chats will focus on:

• Establishing a Culture of Dive Safety - 13 June from 2-3 pm EDT
• Dive Accident Management - 26 June from 2-3 pm EDT

Resources on the topics will be released in the days prior to the chat to give participants time to read up on them and prepare questions for the experts in advance.

To participate in the live chats all you need to do is “Like” DAN on Facebook.

On DAN’s website they have a wealth of resources available like Dive Safety Quizzes that are both fun and educational.
