American Airlines/American Eagle Announces New Flight Schedule to Bonaire

Kralendijk, Bonaire - American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, has announced that starting September 8, 2004 it will implement a new flight schedule to Bonaire.A  The new schedule will include three round-trip flights per week between San Juan, Puerto Rico and Bonaire, and provide travelers with easy and convenient one-stop service to Bonaire from many of American Airlines' U.S. gateway cities.A 

September 8 - October 30 American Eagle flight #5370 will depart San Juan on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 5:50 p.m. arriving into Bonaire at 8:00 p.m.A  The return flight to San Juan, flight #5371, will depart Bonaire Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 a.m. arriving into San Juan at 10:10 a.m.A  Beginning on October 31 with the end of Daylight Savings Time, flight #5370 will depart San Juan at 6:30 p.m. arriving into Bonaire at 8:40 p.m., and flight #5371 will depart Bonaire at 7:00 a.m. arriving into San Juan at 9:10 a.m.A  American Eagle will use a 64-seat Super ATR 72 - Super ATR airplane for these flights.

"The new schedule will allow vacationers to plan both long weekend getaways to Bonaire as well as longer stays, in addition to preserving the Saturday to Saturday option which has always been the most popular choice of travelers from the US," says Burney el Hage, Commissioner of Tourism for Bonaire.
