At just five-and-a-half pounds, Cressi's Air Travel BC helps divers reduce luggage weight and avoid baggage fees. It folds up to fit in a small dive bag or carry-on, and the streamlined harness and air cell reduce drag while swimming. Buoyancy adjustments can be made from nearly any position with one of three exhaust valves, and multiple D-rings, along with a roll-down pocket, give divers storage options for lights and other tools. Integrated weight-pockets lock securely in place and deploy with a single pull of the handles. Though lightweight, the Air Travel uses the same durable 420 Denier material as Cressi’s standard BCs. Available in silver and blue mens versions as well as pink for ladies, it also provides 36 lbs of lift, enough for diving in cooler waters with thicker suits. The Bottom Line: The Air Travel is compact and travel-friendly, but with the quality and features for diving closer to home.
